2024 Food Use Workshop

About the Event

The 2024 Food Use Workshop will take place September 10-12 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Research priorities for residue, product performance, and integrated solutions studies for 2025 will be identified during this workshop. A virtual option will be available for participants unable to attend in person.

A tentative agenda will be shared soon; we anticipate full days of programming on September 10-11, concluding with a half-day on September 12.

Important Dates

  • July 18: Industry Technology Session
  • NEW! July 31: Deadline to submit Project Clearance Requests (Food Crop Program)
  • August 15-29: Project Clearance Requests are eligible for nomination online
  • August 30: Registration rate increases (early bird rate valid through 11:59 pm on Aug. 29; regular rate effective at or after midnight on Aug. 30)
  • September 3: Final day to request a cancellation and refund
  • September 5: The list of nominated projects is posted on the public website
  • September 10-12: Food Use Workshop

Workshop Registration

Registration is now open for the 2024 Food Use Workshop. The following rates are applicable for both in-person and virtual attendees:

Early Bird Rate: $375 through 11:59 p.m. EDT on Thursday, August 29
Regular Registration Rate: $475 on or after Friday, August 30

Tuesday, September 3 is the final day to request a cancellation and refund for the Workshop. The Zoom link for the Workshop will be sent to registered participants after this date.

Booking a Room:
A block of hotel rooms at the Renaissance Milwaukee West Hotel is available for our in-person meeting attendees from September 8-13. Use the button below to reserve your hotel room in our room block.

Rooms must be reserved by Tuesday, August 27, 2024, to receive the group rate of $183/night.

Hotel Transportation and Parking:
The hotel does not offer an airport shuttle; we recommend using a taxi or rideshare service. Information about the ground transportation offered at the Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport can be found here

For those driving, free parking is available to workshop attendees! At check-in, the front desk will prompt guests to scan a QR code to provide their vehicle information and enter a code to waive the parking fee. Please consult the front desk upon check-in if you have questions about parking.
